I am looking for the flasher on a 1967 f250. I have the instrument panel out of the truck and cannot find the flasher.
I have no turn signals, brake lights or emergency flashers, figure it may be the flasher.hope someone can help.
thanks Greg

check the fuses for power going to wire 810 to the column. it should be a black wire with red stripe. http://www.fordification.com/tech/wirin ... ghts02.jpg

Re: 1967 f250 flasher
My 67 had a big box looking flasher that was mounted behind the instrument cluster just to the left of the ash tray.

Re: 1967 f250 flasher
thanks to all, I was looking for a little round flasher, this is a camper special so it has the large heavy duty flasher just left of the ashtray like you said..
thanks so much,
gonna change it and see if it works

my guess it that it is a fuse or bad wiring to in or from the steerign column. maybe the turn signal switch.

I'll second on the t/s switch...
and it's not because it's a camper special that it has the box flasher; they combined the regular and emergency flasher into one unit on the early production '67s built before dec 66/jan 67, I believe.

Re: 1967 f250 flasher
so then i would need the single square box flahser for my 67 then? if i don't have a dual flasher set up for blinkers and hazards seperatly.

Re: 1967 f250 flasher
I put the small round flasher solenoid out of a newer truck in my 67 years ago and it ran both the blinkers and the hazards with no problems.
