plexiglass gauge front

Post by travmarks »

Hello,
I'm new to the site...I'll try to get some pics up soon in the new members section. I found a 68 f250 flatbed that I'm woking on. This site seems like a great resource..so, here's my first question of many to come. Where can I find a replacement for the plexiglass panel that goes in front of the gauge housing? Mine is all scratched up. Did a quick search, but could not find anything.
Thanks,
Travis

You might check your local glass co. i sell 1/16" plexiglass for 2.00 a sq.foot out of my shop. they may even let you have a piece that small. most shops dont like keeping cut-offs that small any way. i give small stuff like that to truck and motorcycle guys. its better than the dumpster if they can use it. :just my :2cents:

I made my own out of plexiglass. Didn't make it exactly like the original but once assembled you couldn't tell. It makes an amazing difference to be able to see the gauges nice and clear. Almost looks like new gauges.
