What happened to RPM Overlays?

Post by 69FLATBED »

Has anyone ordered from them lately or have a phone number from a previous order? I used the link in the vendor section and it is no good, I also Googled them with not much luck either. I want to order some white guage overlays for my truck. Any help? Let me know, Thanks. :fr:

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

I haven't hooked up the cluster yet, I've just begun a complete rewire of the whole truck, and have just finished the instrument cluster. New 45 degree plugs on the gagues and all that. The overlays are essentially black print on white vinyl. They are not luminecent. You can get lumninecent paint and paint the letters if you really wanted to though. I am going to replace the cluster lights with L.E.D. tape light, so I can really light it up, without adding the extra heat of incandecent bulbs.Image Its all part of big ol work in progress. With time, we will see the results. And money, don't forget the money. LOL

I got some L.E.D. strips for my cluster, that do a pretty good job of lighting things up, I will take a pic after I install em and post it on here for you to check out.

P.S. I used needle paint on my gauge needles so they pop pretty well now. Look a lot, lot, better than they did before. I was actually surprised at the difference...

Here's a pic of those light strips...

Well, I am very pleased with my results. I installed two L.E.D. light strips I bought at my local AutoZone... With the white face gauges and repainted needles, I can see them quite clearly, and am very happy with thier appearance.
