A little background on my truck; '72 F100 short bed, 5000GVW, 3600# 9 3/8 rear axle, 360/C6(with TRS). My truck was very stock and unmolested until I took the 360/C6 out and put in the 460/C6.
Since I no longer have the C6 that was mated to the 360, I've decided to remove all of the other TRS related components and use the switched electrical supply wire for the TRS as a 12V power wire for my new MSD ignition box.
I've studied the wiring diagram for the 1972 version of the TRS and my wiring does not resemble the TRS wiring in the 1972 Master Wiring Diagram. I did have the ambient temp sensor in the left door jamb, I did have the vacuum soleniod on the intake that had 2 vacuum lines as well as wires that went from the firewall to the solenoid and then a single wire from the solenoid that went down to a switch screwed into a line port on the C6 at the intermediate servo. I do not, however, have a speedo sensor or emission control module or any wires associated with either but mine does look exactly like the depiction in the TRS System Handbook located in the Factory Literature Library.
So...................my question is why is there a TRS related speed sensor and module shown in the 1972 Master Wiring Diagram but not depicted or even mentioned in the TRS System Handbook?

Theres is definitely no sensor or module on my TRS equipped truck.
