BTW: I just saw in the Dennis Carpenter catalog, that they now sell the '78 style horn center with cruise control. It's a bit spendy at $200.00 but at least there is the option.
been toying with the idea of using that one as well. Wire it up to use the cruise buttons for "paddle shift".
As a metter of fact, i AM trying to keep up with the Jones'

I could use recommendations for my particular application.
I've got manual steering. So a large diameter wheel seems to be a "must".
It already seems like I'm sitting too close to the stock wheel with the seat all the way back. If I get an aftermarket wheel that uses an adapter, does that mean that the wheel gets closer to the seat?
And finally: As purchased (aka: not me) the current stock wheel isn't even attached to the column. It's heavy enough that in the few short trips to repair shops there were no issues. But - It's really, really (did I say "really"?) nice to be able to get that thing out of the way when I need to stand on my head under the dash. So a quick release wheel (like in Nascar) would be really nice.
