Duplicolor Bed Armor...

Post by drpark »

I seen a commercial for Dupli Color Bed Armor (http://www.bedarmor.com) and was wondering if any of you have used this product?

I am looking to apply this or a similar product underneath my cab to help reduce road noise and as a topcoat over the POR15 i plan on applying to the frame.

The price is good as well, $79 - $25 rebate = $54/gallon.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Did not work at all, however autozone carries herculiner, and rustoleum bed liner, the rustoleum is like 75 a gallon. It worked well, however, make sure you have a nice clean and rust free surface.

Dupli color I think is junk wont hold up peels off within 6 months even when prep proper

I recommend SEM products for DIY will last longer than you approx $200 for kit and better than Herculie liner and a far cry from a shop price brand

I used Herculiner on another vehicle as a test to see if I would like it for my F250.. I was VERY impressed with the Herculiner and plan on using it on my F250 in the future. I did quite a bit of research on Herculiner before I went with it and it pretty much gets great reviews all over the place online. You can do your own searches to see, but it seems to be the choice for most of the off-roading community for anti-rust and anti-scratch purposes.

As long as you take your time doing the prep work and prep the area correctly, the Herculiner will pretty much stay on forever...
