72 steering column wiring

Post by jcolville »

Can anyone tell me what the color code and what each wire does on the connector for the steering column. I have an aftermarket steering column im putting in. I looked at the wiring diagrams on the tech posts but i keep getting lost. Thanks everyone.

the aftermarket column probably uses gm color coded wires. so you will just have to read the columns directions as to what they are and then plug them into the correct place the diagrams say they should be for. if you look through soem of the threads abotu the tss wirign yo umay find some drawing other have drawn up of the 72 wirign plug and the colors.

:yt:
This may also help with the stock wire stuff, the bottom connector is what your 72 would have.

Also, this may be of help too.
