so as i was driving along today i saw 2 nice condition bucket seats sitting on the side of the road get them home and they fit in the truck nicely but right where the floor dips down on both sides how could i fasten the seat..not only do i need help fastening the seat down where it hangs over but fastening it on period..
i was thinking about getting a metal bracket and weld it to the floor then weld it to the seat bracket to support it..but idk help me

do the tracks come off of the bucket seats? if so remove them. and remove the seat tracks from your seat. drill holes if yo uhave to. then moutn your seat tracks onto the drivers seat. then you just need another set of seat tracks for the passenger side. if you cant remove the seat tracks from the bucket seats. then yo uwill have to put some sort of blocking under it where it hangs over and then botl the blocks tot he floor and the seat to the blocks.

this is what i did 1 inch square tubing big washers and grade 8 bolts

i wouldnt permantyl weld the seats to the floor. welding on seat spacers to the brackets is the way to go. that way when those seats wear out you can junk them and install new seats without having to grind off welds to get the seats out.

why cant you get unde the cab to thread nuts onto bolts dropped down through the spacer he showed?

drill a hole where the spacer is crawl on the truck and put the nut on there is lost off room and not even close to the frame
