wiring wrap

That's the stuff they used to use on factory harnesses.

It's tough to wrap correctly without doing it on an automated machine, but it will work fine if you take your time and make sure each successive wrap overlaps the last.

Have you considered the corrugated split loom? Unless you're going for a TRUE factory look, that would be my product of choice.

I used to work at a place that made the wiring harnesses for a Lincoln, I forget which car. That looks exactly like the stuff we used and the wrapping was all done by hand. I still have a couple of rolls of it that I picked out of the garbage bin.

What you guys call electrical tape us electricians call Marking tape or Phasing tape.

yes both of those are electrical tape. i just want to wrap up my wires in the tape to hold it together so it isnt a mess. all of that plastic stuff and woven braided material is for show trucks of course. well the plastic coil stuff isnt. anyway. i fiugred that was the stuff that i posted.

The tape I showed will not come off and get sticky and messy. That is why electricians use it.
