My 67 F-100 Ranger.
Guys, I'm new to the forums - Heres my truck. Its a 67 F-100 Ranger Short-bed.
I just got done with the interior and finally got the 302 running and on the road; coated frame, rust free, originally a texas truck. Fresh floor-pans and carpet. Trucks sitting on BFG Radial T/A's; Cragar SS 15x7s up front, 15x8s in the rear. 302 coupled to a c4 tranny. My next step is to pick up a painless wiring kit and clean up the engine bay. I'd like to go with a 351w (450hp) to a C4 TCI Streetfighter (2500 stall). What do you think? I want to be in the mid to low 12s while remaining streetable. I have a few drivetrain/engine questions so I'll post them in the proper forum. Let me know what you guys think of the truck so far.

Welcome from Tennessee! I'm a big fan or shorties. Especially a 67. Truck looks great. I like the 69' grill on there also. Post some more pics when you get a chance.

Thanks for the great comments guys. I actually bought the truck about a year and a half ago on ebay from texas. It was a total disappointment when I actually received the truck, the seller left a LOT of details in the description. The interior was destroyed, the motor wouldn't run, tires were dry-rotted, 2 of the rims were mangled, but it DID have a great body, frame and paint. Within the last 3-4 months I've revamped the interior using mostly LMC Parts (ABS Headliner, door panels, dash-pad cover, bench-seat rebuild kit, carpet, dash bezel, knobs, etc. The interior was custom white vinyl but everything was torn up, faded, ripped, and dirty. I like the look of the black anyway.
Moving forward:I cleaned up the brake system, painted the rear drums black (has front disc brake conversion and power steering); put on the Cragar SS's (4in backspacing) (15x7, 15x8) and BFG's with intentions to go with the DJM lowering kit. I ended up replacing the distributor, new wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump, fuel filter, rebuilt the old 2 barrel autolite; the 302 runs like a charm now, starts up first try every time and runs really well.
BTW, the gas-tank was relocated so you fill up in the bed, the gas-tank cap is just forward of the rear drivers side wheel-well.
I want this truck to rip so I'm looking at a built 351w or 460 (450-500hp); I've read great things about TCI but I'm open to other suggestions you guys may have. Why would you recommend for a built C4? Like I mentioned before, I had intentions of going with the DJM Lowering kit but since I've decided to go with street-rod route, I'm considering going with the Fat-Man 4-link suspension.

, Sweet looking '67! I'm really liking how "clean" it looks and might I add those Cragars look purty good on a bump . I can't wait to see some more pics of the truck when you start doing some more work to it! And welcome from NC BTW .

I think that red paint looks great, love the wheels too.

Thanks a lot guys, it means a lot to get the thumbs up from the other ford fanatics. Most of the interior parts were from LMC Truck; not impressed. Every screw and bolt hole was off by just a little bit so I had to do some drilling to get everything to line up properly. The carpet fits well but I messed up on the drivers side a little bit, need to fix that when I get a change. Also, since the gas-tank was relocated to below the bed, I had all kinds of bare metal behind the seat, I added thin sheet-metal speaker cut-outs for 6x9s which are located in the corners of the back wall. The carpet behind the seat is too long so I'm going to cut it flush with the rear wall and bed-line the bare-metal and speaker cut-outs; I think it will look really good when I'm all done. I still need to install a cd player and speakers. Unfortunately there are no mounting tabs along side of the radio cut-out so I'll need to come up with a custom job; its just a hole for now. I will probably end up screwing into the dash..
Another LMC issue; The truck doesn't have a shift indicator. The "replacement" from LMC does not fit, the ears are way too wide; not sure what I'm gonna do with this. I'm thinking about just waiting until I get the new motor and tranny and use the hurst ratchet shifter on the tranny hump.
