After market radio

Post by jmc1975 »

Can any one tell me tell what wires to use hook up a after market car radio. The original radio was not with the truck when I got the truck. My truck is a 1970 f100 the after market radio is jvc is shows the yellow wire to the battery, black to ground and red to accessories. What's the best way to hook this up?

I think I tapped into the cig. lighter wire for my batt. connection, (yellow wire which saves your memory on the radio) and took the keyed ignition wire over to the fuse box.
