Removing dash?
Can someone tell this newbe how to remove the dash in a bump? My dash is split, faded and looks like crud. Also the AM radio still works, but the speaker has disentigrated. I have one I believe will fit and I want to replace the speaker so the factory radio will work again (im putting an aftermarket on in the headliner
) To me its a waste to remove and replace a working 40+ year old radio.

I did mine 2 weeks ago, real simple now that I've tried it
remove glove box
remove gauge panel
remove nuts from dash
remove dash
the metal dash looks pretty nice and alot better than
the cracked dash

Re: Removing dash?
I have noticed that the dash "pad" is only availible in black, dash "covers" are avalible in all the original colors. So I suppose I need the dash pad and a cover to look original?
