From Bench to bucket seats
This is what I did this weekend, I change out my bench seat for bucket seats. I really like the look of the buckets, what do you think?

Beautiful interior!
Great attention to detail with how well everything matches.

Re: From Bench to bucket seats
Thank you!! The seats were originally black when I bought them, I used the Color Bond dye to get the dark red. It is supposed to not flake or peel if properly applied, so we will see how they do.

Yes they Mustang seats, they are 65-66 standard seats. I plan on upgrading them to the deluxe upholstery in the future. I got them off ebay.

Re: From Bench to bucket seats
Since I am kinda on the vertical challenged side the leg room is the same for me, but both the seats will slide back and almost touch the cab. I think the leg room would be similar to the bench seat. If you need me to, I could measure the leg room.71cc wrote:How is the leg room situation with buckets?

Re: From Bench to bucket seats
Man that looks sharp.
Where did you get the brackets, off of ebay?
How hard would it be to weld or bend something of similar dimensons, for those who are unwilling to spend that kind of money?
Would 78-79 bronco bucket brackets work? ( I am sure that has been answered before but can't remember)
Not trying to hijack the thread but some of you guys get me jealous and I found a 79 bronco with black buckets at the pick and pull yesterday but no f(and I mean absolutly no) floorboards under the feet of passenger or driver.
