Also a little bit of info. from Doug: He's the 4th owner of this beautiful C/S, that was built and sold locally in San Jose, CA. It has 112k miles, and is still rocking the original paint and interior. Thanks for sharing pics of your rig Doug, your truck is in amazing condition IMO 8).

Nice. Looks like the previous owners took care of it.
Clean interior. Except for the steering wheel color wear, which is
hard to avoid at 112k, almost looks like new inside. You don't see too
many with seats and floor in that good an original condition.

Thanks everyone. The truck was sold new here in Eureka.
That's our Granddaughter at the wheel.
When I first saw it,I told the owner that he'd done a great
restoration on it,to which he replied "It's original".He ended up getting a
divorce,& selling me the truck, otherwise he would have kept it.

Sold it today.I know I'll miss it,but it went to someone who can store it indoors
in the Winter.I couldn't stand to see it sit outside for another wet one.
Thanks everyone for your help!I'll still check in here once in awhile.

Sorry - I didn't give an explanation. After I sold the F250 (to the first guy who looked at it),
I asked the owner of this panel truck how much he wanted for it.He said "make me an offer".I did,
& a few days later,he accepted it.
It only has 5200 original miles,& was used as an ambulance in a small logging town.I feel
a little funny about buying a Chevy,as I usually buy Fords.I like the looks of the '59 - '60 Fords much
better than the other brands.
The Panel will be in the next issue of "Hemmings Classic Car".I was surprised that the're
putting it in there.
