5 speed trans
my buddy has a early 80s ford truck 300 -6 with a 5 speed trans how hard of a job and what modifications wouls i have to do to get a manual 5 speed in my 69 i already got the clutch pedals in it from when it was a stick b4 but do u guys know of any other stuff i should know thx guys ....tom

Try doing a search for similiar threads. I'm pretty sure that has been discussed a while back. I'm going to use a mustang style 5 speed in mine but that will be a whole different mess.

Mine's a 4x4... so of course that will have to complicate things a bit...but I wondered about something out of a later model.

No , this will be a street/show truck. And I will used a tremec to something equivalent. By mustang style I meant close ratio, not the long winding truck types. I know all about the T-5's, I grenaded one behind this motor already, and its only got 400hp right now.
