Hey all
Its been a while since I've updated this topic. Seems as though I've had one of those snowballing incidents
![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
, it all started when I started driving a company vehicle , the alternator bearings in the stepper where making a little noise , had a terrible exhaust leak both banks . Couldn't locate any alternator bearings so I cleaned the old ones up and repacked them with synthetic grease and they probably will sing like a bird anyways. While I had it apart I picked up some rebuilders paint at TSC and really spiffed it up , and this is where the snowball was born . Upon reinstalling the alternator all shiny like new ,I thought this ain't going to work,

knowing I had 2 cans of ceramic Ford blue engine paint (old shade) I decided to give her a fresh coat . And this is where my "Well while I'm here"'s started . Cab and chassis in garage , motor and tranny out in floor next to the carcass , bed with no floor on saw horses in driveway
With any luck I'll have some sort of a resemblance of a '69 F-100 something to bring to Fort Hood in November.
As of today Sunday, Oct 23 , the firewall has been painted with my own concoction of grey primer and aluminum silver (neat results ) the motor is freshly painted , as well as the tranny with any luck they will be back in today

and most of the accessories cleaned and repainted
My plans are to have cab and front clip in primer , and if by some miracle
the bed (with some sort of floor in tack) ready for Fort Hood Meet and greet.
And when i arrive in that little black Rodeo I will have yarns to spin and pictures in tow .
