Re-installing 1" door panel trim piece - ('69 Ranger) help!

Post by alvald83 »

I need help re-installing the 1" stainless trim piece back on the door. The trim piece was removed as a unit, so im not sure how to get the clips back into it. Do i need to separate the trim piece to slide the clips in or is there a way to get them on without separating the trim. Thanks for any help. Al

The clip will push in the trim. Put the top of the clips in the grove on trim and push up on bottom of clip with flat screw driver and it will pop in place. Then the clips will just slide to line up with mounting holes.
