Re: one wire alternator
On the 100Amp PowerMaster alternator. On a Ford application, one terminal on the back is wired to the hot terminal on the solenoid. The wire is 10 gauge from the original voltage regulator. The old regulator goes into the trash. The extra leads get capped and wrapped into the harness. And then you start the vehicle, and bring the RPMs up to about fifteen-hundred to excite the alternator and then check to make sure the vehicle is charging...maverickfe wrote:Has anyone installed a one wire alternator and if so what did they have too do?
