headlight switch knob removal

hi everyone this is my 1st time to this site so i hope i dont sound stupid but how do i remove the knob on the light switch?there is no allen screw so i dont know whats going on with it.thank you very much

Reach around under the dash and there is a small spring loaded button on the side of the switch that you press while pulling out on the knob.

Here's the spring-loaded button you need to find and push down, while pulling out on the knob. You'll probably have to do a little wiggling to get it out. (The knob, that is...not your butt!) Then just unscrew the chrome bezel on the front and drop the switch down out from under the dash, remove the harness connector, and it's out.
