Finished my 600 cluster

Post by mkpj1 »

Thanks to Thunderfoot I reworked a 600 cluster. I gutted an old gauge and it would have been easy to mount in my 600 cluster which is steel. I took it out of a 68 model. I decided to go to out and see what I could find locally and this is what I ended up doing. Found some IEQUUS gauges and a tach that matched the Speedo and gas gauge. Cut out the case to exactly fit the gauges so they popped out the back for hook up.

Used my F100 wiring hooking up only my gas gauge and adjusting the voltage on a full tank of gas. Plus using my wiring allows me to have the "tinker" for my blinkers.

Painted and put in 3 3/8ths tach that matched.

Way better baby! I have an extra cluster with the older "bronco" gauge in parts for sale if any one wants it. It has nicer gauges.

Thanks! I got them at a parts store called O'Reilly's. Not the most expensive but seem fine and accurate.
