I used to have an old heap that I started with a screwdriver. Course if someone would have stole it. They would have been doing me a favor.

Thats what I was saying. Super easy job lol
Or why spend the money on the ignition assembly when you can pop the hood and power the coil/jump the solenoid and be on your way in less than 1 minute if you know what you're doing.

Ok now I'm going to have my bumps stolen. But I know this info has been said on here many times and I didn't get into details on purpose lol

Good thread! I'd like to know about the locking vent windows too. Both of the above happened to me in 2006, hence my signature. The guy stole my bump from a Walmart parking lot 15 mins after I pulled in. I don't lock it cause why bother since it's so easy to get in through the vent window anyway. He, apparently, did what 1971ford said and then, when he got down the road a little, snatched out the ignition switch and stuck a screwdriver in it from then on. He was caught from an outstanding warrant an hour later and my truck sat in a wrecking yard for 14 months till they figured out it was stolen and called me! When I went to get it the screwdriver was still stuck in the ignition switch. Don't know how he got the lockset out unless he used a dent puller and snatched it. Regardless, I got her back! If I could lock the vent windows I might start locking her up.

Has anyone tried the universal wing window locks that LMC has? If so how good are they? Thinking about ordering a set.
