Door weather Strips

I would like your opinions about Who makes the best set of aftermarket door weather stripping, I bought a set from LMC about six years ago, it started out just fine, but after a few years I noticed that it started to split, then I found a set on ebay, I only replaced one side, thank God ,but it just don't want to let my door Close without slamming it shut, is there anybody that makes a good set in your opinions.

Precision is the only manufacturer I've seen of weatherstrip kits, no matter who retails them. But what do I know, I've never installed one yet.

Slamming shut... Have you tried readjusting the door latch yet?

Dennis Carpenter has the best I've found. But when you put new ones on the door is going to be harder to shut because the sills or not smashed flat and hard, so the door is silling to the cab better.

this has happened to alot of guys. it is new weather strip on a older truck. it will shut very hard or close to impossible. you may have to adjust the striker until the weather strip relaxes enough.

I think you're probably right about that...About the same time I put new door seals in, I glued in some matching carpeting under the door panels and the doors just would not shut properly until I removed the carpet...They're still hard to shut, but it seems like it's getting it's resistance from the sill area...

I bought some Mac's Anique auto parts and have had no problems. They are stiff but slowly breaking in.

Thanks for everbody's imput, I've had pretty good luck with everything I've gotten from Mac's, I think I'll either go that way or D.C.
