daddysgirl wrote:Bad boy... I love you ideas a but the kick panels Cant be done cause i have air vents in each kickpanel and on the drivers side i have the e brake and the infloor light switch. Also the underside of my seat is flush with the floor. No hiding anything under there. My gas tank fits into the back of my seat if that makes sense and i Dont want to remove it because having dual gas tanks is something i love about my truck. Im not having much luck with this system thing
Do you have AC, automatic or stick? I ask these questions because I built a set of kick panels for my friends 71 that sat behind the vents, e brake and hi beams switch and worked perfect. only housed a set of 4 inch speakers but with tweaters sounded good. also, fab a wooden cover to go over the gas tank behind the seat, that gives you a flat place to set a pair of speaker boxes on TOP of the gas tank. you just have to get a bit creative with it.

this was in a 66 vw bug. full interior roll cage, the back seat went back into the original position, put grilles on the subs and was still able to carry groceries in it (daily driver).

I have the same problem. I have a Pioneer DIN radio with 4 6" speakers, and I put one in each door, but where to put the other two? I can't put them in a box in the middle of the cab, my shifter and 4WD stick are there lol. Does that mean my only option is either put them in the doors too making 2 speakers in each door? Or the cab wall/corner area (kinda by your head). Also how do you use your factory radio bezel to fit a DIN radio in it?
Sorry for the long winded post!
Thanks a million!
