dome light bezel cover

Post by cozadlance2 »

no junkyard bumps here. didn't find one in the help section at any of the parts stores here. I am thinking of making a cover outta colored plastic just to be different. However, if anybody knows of where to get one... on that note, I think it is high time I request some catalogues... But do chime in with ideas... Thx

I bought one from Dennis carpenter that came in a original ford sealed package but it has the black not the chrome bezel. I want to paint the bezel so I was going to use it but the bezel and the lens is the same so I bought a non polished light from Jamie. I have the one I bought avalible if you are interested in it let me know.

Books with parts in them is always a good read, and most of them have online catalogs also.

Guys, thanks for the compliments. Out of all the light bezels I've made I've only heard of one failure and that was when the truck burnt down from careless smoking. The OEM ones tend to melt if left on too long.

Well I for one would not recommend waiting too long, the material costs are up and prices are going to follow first of the year...

I'm doing a batch of ash tray pulls today, aluminum is up yet again...

I bought one from Jamie. If he ever does another run, you should get one. It is probably one of the nicest things on my truck.

I certainly want to get one of each. I like shiny stuff in the cab and under the hood. Don't care for it for some reason on the outside of the truck.
