1969 headliner trim

i have a 1969 f100.Can't find headliner trim.I will continue to search but if no luck finding it,do you guys think it is possible to fabricate a trim from any kind of vehicle that carrys metal trim.If not, any other solutions.

You might try posting in the Parts Wanted section or looking in the Parts for sale section of the forums. The trim comes both painted and chromed and in two different styles I think. Both styles will fit. The earlier style had more pieces I think and the later style incorporated a couple of the pieces into a single unit. At any rate I found the trim for mine in the parts section. Hope that helps a little even though it doesnt exactly answer the question.

Is there a difference between the 69 and 71 trim? I've got a set of painted trim for a 71.

As I understand it there is no difference as far as fit. The only time it would matter would be for a year correct restoration.

I kept an eye on Ebay and just picked up a mint chrome headliner trim last week for $36. I hope to install it today. I had the painted trim and I think the screw holes are slightly off but shouldn't make a difference as I can redrill them if necessary. I think the new chrome trim will fit a 68-72. :fr:
