A few pictures of my 68 4x4
I got this truck back in March for my 40th birthday. Here are some pictures of things I have done to it.
My $200 find on Craigslist. A 352 from a 66 F100. Dropped it in and fired right up.
The floor board had some rust issues which I took care of. Then I used undercoating to protect the floor hopefully.
The old fender had a rust hole beyond repairing so I replaced it with one from a 72.
My wife bought me a whole stereo system for christmas. I also put 6.5s in the headliner and 6x9s in the doors like my other trucks.

Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?

Hey Doug. I"m curious what happened to the hood myself. It looks like someone threw some type of liquid on the hood and it ate the paint. It has what looks like a thin layer of body filler in some places under the paint. The hood may get replaced down the road if I can't save it.

Not at all. I like your avatar Doug. I might try to do that with our three trucks. This truck has been a little work but I am enjoying having it. I'm just waiting til I have to go get my son's Toyota unstuck. I'm going to give him such a bad time.
