New hubcaps for my 67' F100
I picked up these FoMoCo hubcaps at a classic car junk yard this past weekend. I believe they are off a 70 something f100 or e100. They are in pretty good condition! What do you guys think? I am thinking of lowering the truck eventually.

I used to have those on my '71. I am actually thinking about what kind of hub caps if any to put on my '67 right now. I have a pair of original hub caps with the red centers but they are not in that good of condition.

The red centers that your talking about are the ones I really want but they are a little bit more then what I'm willing to pay right now. I picked this set up for $20.00 so this will do for now. Wouldn't mind getting some thick whitewalls too. It's a work in progress!

not a big fan of the wheel covers, but that is a good looking 67. like the color scheme too. those came on cars and trucks and remind me of all the huge smogged out mid 70's boats. i will say this though, if you lower the truck and keep the covers it might look pretty cool that way. maybe some raised white letter tires to set it all off?

@ ezernut9mm:
Thanks for your comment. Yes my brother said the same thing, he didn't like them at all. I just liked the deal I got on them and they are in pretty good condition considering I got them off a Ford that was R.I.P. (Rusting In Peace). That's my next move though: lowering it and putting some new tires all around... I would like the thick white walls or raised white letters. What would you recommend on lowering my truck? Cheapest but best way...
Thanks!

Yeah thats probably what I'll do with the front. I'll have to research the "half hanger" method I've never heard of it. Question: did you add that light at the rear end of your truck? Its behind the wheel. That looks nice!!!

and no, i didn't add the light. 68 and 69 trucks had a reflector there and the previous owner put that sticky reflector there when he painted the truck yellow and to cover the factory holes. i had replaced that with the proper ford reflector before i sold the truck. i still wonder why i sold that truck.

Oh I see! Damn why did you sell it?? That's a really nice truck! I love seeing the long beds lowered, they look absolutely beautiful! Can you tell me how you lowered your truck in the rear? Or at least send me a link to the topic. I really am looking for a step-by-step process so I can knock it out in a weekend. Thanks! Also, what do you drive now? Any projects?

Those are the exact wheel covers that I'm going to put on my truck when it's finished. The set I have is all that we have left of my grandfather's '72 Galaxie.Wueras67 wrote:I picked up these FoMoCo hubcaps at a classic car junk yard this past weekend. That's cool! I saw a Galaxie this past weekend it was in mint condition and it had my same exact covers!
