Stereo Question

Post by towens »

Okay...so I have had this question for a while now and I would like some input. I have been thinking about putting one of these kind of stereo's in my car. I have been thinking of one like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/dual-combo-package- ... 41560aa993

(without the splash-guard ......)

or one like this:

Why do you want a marine stereo? You have more choices to pick from with regular auto stereos. Just my :2cents:

I think either one would be fine. The first stereo has 4 6.5" speakers which would be an advantage if you were looking to put 4 speakers in your truck, that and they are all probably rated at a few more watts then the 5.25" speakers with the other stereo which may or may not be a factor for you. Other then that they both have very similar specs. and both have USB and aux. in ports on the face of them which is nice if you want to plug your Ipod/MP3 Player into it or your flash-drive. If the first one is made by Dual (believe it is based on the title of the listing but not sure) it will be of slightly higher quality than the Pyle in the second listing however we have that exact same Pyle in my grandfathers CJ with no complaints (Got it from JCWhitney I do believe), as well as an older version of it in my jon-boat (Who doesn't love tunes in there jon-boat?). If you're just looking to put some tunes in the bump I'd go with the second choice and use the coin you save on something else for the truck .
