ODD BALL LIGHT BULB INSIDE?

I HAVE A SINGLE BULB UNDER THE DASH THAT HAS SOME KIND OF CAGE OR SLIP CLIP AROUND IT AND DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT ITS FOR OR WHERE IT GOES? IT COMES ON WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON ONLY. I WOULD POST A PICK BUT TRIED BEFORE AND JUST CANT GET IT. ANYONE GOT A CLUE?

where at under the dash? left right center? it could be brake warning light. heater bezel light cigar lighter night light. one of the dahs cluster lights came out and fell down. but i just now relized it is probably from the cigar lighter.

Either the cigar lighter buld or if it's on the left side the brake warning light bulb, (my bet)

thanks everyone! just got another car so i can start working on my truck on a dailey basis without haveing to worry about what am im going to drive the next day. couldnt do it without all of you!

I have the same one hanging down. Never would have thought it attached to the cigarette lighter.
