Those things are exciting to get in the mail. I was glad that neither of our trucks have been messed with that much.

The only changes are I think the engine has been changed to a 390 and according to this, it is supposed to have bucket seats. If this is true, then I will get a set to put back in it. It has the correct bench seat for a 67 in it, so I am guessing the original owner might have had it changed out.

Don't be too sure about that. Mine also said it was supposed to have come with buckets, but I know for a fact it's always been a bench seat. I know of another forum member whose build sheet also said his came with buckets when it didn't.

What did you select from under the nature of inquiry selection to get a copy of your build sheet?
I actually have my original. It is in about a hundred pieces and some ( critical ) sections are missing.
Thanks, OT

does the floor have holes for buckets as a standard hole or are they put in only if the truck was suppose to have buckets? i've never looked at my truck.
I'm almost 100% positive that the floorpan needs welded inserts for the inside brackets for each side (if the buckets were factory-installed), similar to those already in the cab for the bench seat. They would be located where the yellow arrow is pointing to here, for the passenger side:

thats what i thought. they don't know much they just guess at it. thats so you can't have a matching numbers kind of truck. i would write them back and tell them of thier mistake.
cxoulda been intended for buckets but ran out that day and so they put in the bench?
