water leak

We finally got some rain here in Texas. Only one day in a very long time. Noticed a small puddle in the drivers side floor. Interior is totally stripped so easy to spot on metal floor. Could not locate leak until my son sprayed water on windshield, cowl area etc. Leak was coming from windshield wiper arm mount. I took them off to find the remains of a gasket. So the fix was easy. Just made a new one from some parts store gray gasket material. Thought I would post in case someone has a leak and has trouble finding it. Was also interesting to see the water from the cowl drain down into the vent areas in the kick panels then to the ground.

cowl area leaks are either the gasket or it could be coming from places like the windshield or the cowl seam i think soemone had it happen there once. and even if the cowl vent got plugged it could run down the kick panel into the cab.
