Interchangeable dashes

Post by CNM67 »

Will the dashes out of the slicks work in the bumps?

No, the slick gauge panels will not work with the bumps. If you want to get rid of the stock plastic panel we have, the F600 panel is the plug-and-play way to go. That is what I did with mine and you can check it out on Saturday to see if that is a look you want to go with.

Yeah I've seen that dash and really like and it's what I wanna to mine. I asked the question though because I have a really nice console from a 62 or a 64 but I guess it's a wall piece unless someone here needs it.

I am blending a '61-'66 dash with my '70 so I can use the '65/'66 Custom Cab cluster. I like the hump above the cluster. But yes it requires much cutting and welding to accomplish.

Id like to see your dash elgemcdlf. I am assuming no dash pad too. Thats cool sounding. As for the cluster options for ours, the f600 panels and the plastic trims and the metal 67-9 panel trim. Have to drill holes to use the 67-9 metal trim on a 70-2 cluster. Hope this helps.
