lmc 1972 interior door handles

i purchased to order a drivers door interior door handle from lmc. I expected it to be crap like every order from lmc i've done thus far. I was pleasantly surprised. This reproduction piece functions good, like it should. FYI my original broke on the shaft that lifts up on the interior of the door at the very tip of the shaft, years of wear broke off about 1/4 of the metal. This replacement seems strong and should last quite some time from the looks. It is not stamped on the back with ford, but rather a indicator of LH or RH. Also the pins in it that keep the handle to the plate are longer than the pins in the oem original piece. All in all a well reproduced piece imo.

If these break for other people who have welders i'm sure it's as simple as welding and grinding to fix.

LMC is OK in my book. I ordered a set of side mirrors for my truck. One showed up broken. One short phone call and I had the replacement in a couple days. No questions asked. They didn't even ask me to return the broken one.
