Anti-rattle, weatherstrip question...

I know it is next to impossible to find parts for the crew cab section of our trucks since no one makes or re-pops the parts for the crew. However, today I took apart my rear doors to free up and oil my rear window regulators and locking mechanisms for my crew. While having the doors apart, it is obvious that I need to figure something out for a new anti-rattle kit and weatherstripping for the rear doors.

The windows appear to be the exact same dimensions as the front windows (minus the wing window) and while looking at it, it appears as if an anti-rattle kit for the front doors might possibly fit in the rear doors of a crew. Does anyone have any experience in this area or know if it is a direct fit?

As for the weatherstripping, what have you other CC owners done? No one makes a weatherstripping for our back doors but it would seem that I could buy the rubber for the front doors and cut it to fit since the rear door openings are smaller. Would the front door rubber fit on the rear doors in that manner?

i bet you can cut down both the anti rattle window sweeps and the weather strip and it will work. i bet the run channels may also work. as it is just rubber replacement material. but i dont know what the front part of the rear door windows ride in.

I measured the front anti-rattle and it is about 20" from the wing to the back of the window where it starts to bend up. The rear window has the exact same measurement. And the front of the rear windows ride in a channel that looks the same as the channel that runs down the wing for the front of the front windows. By looking at it, I am fairly certain that the front anti-rattle kit will work on the rear windows. I am just wondering if any CC owners know for sure. It is close enough that I am probably going to order a kit and give it a shot.

you have it right everything from the front works you just have to cut it down.
