Is it possible to remove the dash or is welded on?

It's welded at the windshield seam. You can cut them across the top and replace the face. The dash top will cover the seam.

Yeah, they're welded in with a bazillion spot-welds. A while back I decided to remove one from a parts truck just to see how involved it was, and I'll never do it again. Here's a shot showing the removed dash panel...you can see all the spot welds I had to drill through to remove it, which would not have been possible with the windshield in the truck.
