Forum search techniques
Got any tips for searching the forum? For example, I'm looking for disc/drum proportioning valve locations and bracketry. If I just go to search and type in disc brake proportioning valve I'm going to get every post that contains the word disc and the word drum and the word valve and the word proportioning but not necessarily all four words. How do you isolate only posts that contain those four words strung together in that sequence? Thanks!

Randy,
You can isolate your search using the "advanced search" feature right below the normal search link. You can also isolate the results by linking the search to "search titles only" as well as "key words only" on the advanced search feature. It will eliminate a lot of unwanted results.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

Thanks Jeff. Actually if you go to google and search "disc brake proportioning valve" fordification with the 1st part in quotes you'll get all posts with those 4 words in a row on the Fordification forum. I was just wanting to not have to go out to google. Thanks for the tip!
