Based on the excellent info on this site, I ordered the 3 point belts and a center belt from seatbeltpros.com. I only ordered one hardware kit (only 2 L brackets), which may have been a mistake but hopefully you will be able to point me in the right direction.

1. Do I mount both the center lap belt as well as the driver & passenger side belts in the holes inside the "X" molding ? My original belts were mounted inside the "X" however I do have mounting holes just outside the "X". I was thinking the driver & passenger belts to mount inside the "X" and the center lap belt to be mounted outside the "X". I may have to tap out the holes outside the "x" as the bolts don't have a smooth transition into the hole.
2. As mentioned I only have 2 L brackets plan on using them for the retractor mountings. My original belts were mounted directly to the cab floor. Any issues mounting the 4 belts directly to the cab floor, or should I just buy 4 more L brackets ?
Thanks for your advice

Re: seatbelt installation ?
when disasembled mine i did notice the drivers right and the middle left side were on the same mount but there were no L brackets just straight to the bolts in floor. Being such a older truck it could be there were suppose to be L brackets.Never know what past owners do to these trucks. That is where this great site comes in handy.

Re: seatbelt installation ?
1. Those outside holes were for the bucket-seat option, from what I have gathered. On my 67 they still have the rubber plugs.
2. When I installed my belts I used the original two interior holes to mount the center belt and the outside belt, BUT the instructions from seatbeltpros warn against that. On my 67 the original bolts were bigger than those that came with the kit. I had to use the new bolts because the originals were too big for the new belts.
3. I only used the L brackets for the retractors on the outside.

Re: seatbelt installation ?
I appreciate the responses, thank you. I am still a couple weeks away from installing the belts but now I have a plan.
