recovered seat...

Post by mlangbauer »

What do you think? I bought the cover from Car and Truck Upholstery......it was a piece of cake to recover.....just make sure you vacuum as you go and vacuum all parts of the seat and foam...it was disgusting after all these years..... The wrinkles will come out when it gets out in the sun.....Tomorrow I scrub the carpet and put the seats back in.....

I like it, looks good. Did you buy the ranger piece on the back of the seat or did you already have that to reinstall ?

Looks sweet and love the color! I have the same color in my original 72 and it's still pretty "white" after all these years. BTW, I have a couple of those same Ranger buttons for sale if anyone is interested.

Here it is installed in the truck. The Ranger buttons were on the original cover....so lucky they were intact and in good condition. All the foam was in great condition. This was a pretty easy project....and upholstery work isn't on my top list of things to want to do. Now I need to get white door panels. I don't drive the truck much so I think it will stay fairly clean.....of course I will be out there cleaning every speck of dirt on the dang thing.....
