Put one from a 79' in my truck a few months ago and really loving it!
They have so...much more padding than our original bump seats did.

Ford advertised in their '73 truck (dent) brochure that the new bench seats have 7" of foam on the bottom and 5" on the back, as an improvement over the bump generation!

I replaced my orig. 67 seat with a 79. Man, what a difference, so much more comfortable. It was a direct bolt in.

up through 96 is good...my bench came out of a 95-96...comfy and easy to install but I had to mod the seat back latch a little to keep it off the fuel tank in my 69...I have to have the seat all the way back and still no leg room in these trucks.

I never thought of that! I removed my in cab tank. I have lots of leg room though.

Aftermarket Grant steering wheel with power steering. (Plus 25 pounds less belly than I had when I bought the truck. Still have 25 more to lose, though.)

Got the power steering!

Don't really want to put an aftermarket wheel on it. :hmm:

If I can drop about 40-50 pounds, I won't need to go that route!!
