speed up the Heat?

Post by markymark14 »

Hey i Hove a 69 F100. I think my heater is working correctly, but it takes a while for the truck to get warm. Is thier any add on's that can allow the heater to work more quickly or better?

-Thanks

If it's the original heater core it might be getting plugged up. You might flush it out & see if that helps.

These old trucks are kinda leaky in the cab, you might also look for any major leaks letting in cold air.

Good luck.

As a matter of fact there is. Sorry I can't point you in the right direction though. One of our long time members here had a tutorial or sorts on how to do this. It involves using a blower (fan assembly) from our sister dent era trucks. I do remember him stating it's like a "super-heater" when compared to our existing heater.
The search feature will be your friend here, unless he pipes in here.
