ID a steering wheel?
Can anyone ID this steering wheel. I believe it is the candidate for my bump. This pic is from a '64 Fairlane but I have yet to find another pic of a '64 with this steering wheel in it. It obviously is sittin on top of a GM tilt column.

Re: ID a steering wheel?
A couple hours of searching came up with nothing about the steering wheel. The vehicle it is in, is a '64 Fairlane built by the Ring brothers. Considering their immense fabricating expertise, it is probably a custom fabricated wheel, the center section especially. The car's tranny is controlled by paddle shifters on the steering wheel further adding to the uniqueness. Research links follow:

Scratch that....... Another hour later I found it !!!!!!
What are the chances of finding that, out of 1,000's of wheels available?
The wheel is originally from a 1966 - 1967 Oldsmobile Toranado. They modified it.

Re: ID a steering wheel?
Thanks! I looked and looked and couln't find it. I figured someone might see something in it they recognized. I sent the Ring Brothers and email about it but they have not responded to me yet. I was going to call them tomorrow and see if they would be of help. Now time to do some homework on it. Maybe Olds had a smaller version. That one looks pretty big. It is definitely it though.
