Foam for seat and back source

Post by Madman »

Has anyone purchased the foam kit available from LMC? It sounds like it only has teh foam for the seat portion, not the back rest. Does anyone know a good source for recovering and re-foaming the seats?

Need to do mine but that stuff is high, think I might be able to buy a good used seat for that price.

My recommendation is find a local upholstery shop that does automotive stuff. Let them refoam/recover your seats. They still do that you know.

I wouldn't buy girl scout cookies from LMC. Most of their stuff is blems or 2nd's from Dennis Carpenter or the other big names. Not to mention it's overpriced.

Thats what I was thinking about. We have a good upolstry shop here just havent had time to stop by. I ordered a anti rattle kit for the side windows of my truck from LMC. Didnt seem to fit quite right, got them on and is way better than what I had but little disappointed

Stop by & make friends with the people running the shop. They're your best bet. The do it yourself covers are waaay overpriced! A quality shop can make a original looking seat cover for lots less, in most cases. :2cents:
