I've got some vintage factory training manuals dealing with the C6. I'll go through them tonight after the kids go to bed and see if I can find what you're looking for.

Re: c6 valve body diagram
I found a 1970 Ford technicians handbook that might have the info you need. I just scanned and posted it to the Factory Literature Library. Check out this link, and look specifically at Page 09:

Let me know if this helps.

I just checked it again on this end with two different browsers and it's working fine for me. Can you be a bit more specific about your error message?

Re: c6 valve body diagram
I have a part out of the valve body from my C6 that I don't know where it goes and I'm hoping someone here can help. It can out of one of the valves inside the long cover and the part is 26/64" long tip to tip, 23/64" long at the body and 13/64" diameter. The only place it seems to fit is inside the white spring on the 1-2 shift valve but before I put it back together I want to be sure. Here is a picture of the piece:
I hope you can help, and thanks in advance!!
The part number on the valve body is RF C7AP 71092-FI hope you can help, and thanks in advance!!
