Power steering setup from 71

Post by Buckethead03 »

I have a power steering box, pump, bracket, and column from a 71 F100 390 automatic. I was going to use this in a conversion but i am having trouble finding the parts i need and i am not inclined to modify the column i have to make it work so I am going to put this stuff up for sale. As far as I know everything is in working condition. the truck was being used daily prior to the engine locking up so i am assuming everything is ok. The gear box shaft does turn and the pump does also. According to the casting number on the steering box, it is from a 77 model.

Hard to find parts / good luck with the sale / hopefully go to someone here.
Just had to say this is a picture of a Ford truck I've never seen before. No floorboard in this truck, were you laying in the dirt?

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

How much for the column?

Yep 77 was Fords big changeover year. I know a 73-76 would fit from what I was told.

Haha no. That is the donor truck all that stuff is coming out of. I am in the process of replacing the floor pans and cab mounts. It is standing up on its back in my garage. No Fred Flintstoning for me.
