Dash inserts
Has anybody used the dash inserts that Carolina Classics makes? It looks pretty cool, and since my gauges are ready for retirement, I wondered if anybody had tried thesse and if its worth the $145? http://www.carolina-classics.com/Detail ... ategory=17

Re: Dash inserts
I have seen those before (NPD catalog if I remember right) and I think they look great, I plan on using one. I have not seen one in person though. I wish the speedometer hole was a little bigger but thats how it goes I guess. If you decide to get one be sure to post some pics of it installed

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

Thanks for the link. I'll have to wait til tonite after work to read through it, but it does look a lot like what I want, except I am still on the fence as to wheter or not I want a tach.

Re: Dash inserts
I am going to use the metel gauge bezel and make my own insert as I want to have speedo, tach, volts, fuel, trans temp, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure,2 vents for the a/c,signal lights, high beam, brake light. I have it all set out how I want it just need to get the last few gauges then start to cut the holes in the insert. I am going to be using 2 1/8" auto meter pro comp gauges. The speedo will be the metric one with a tach the same size as I am from Canada.
