Heater Control Valve
Which heater control valve did the 67 F100 have? economy or deluxe heater? I have a 67 base model. LMC has 2 different heater controls valves for a 67.

Re: Heater Control Valve
IIRC, economy had two controls for the heater, while the deluxe had three, in the center of the dash.
Hope that helps.

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???
That's not an oil leak

All I have in two pull cables one for defrost and the other for temperature. There might be a third cable but it doesnt go in the dash. I found that on top the heater box.

Re: Heater Control Valve
Couldn't answer with any intelligence but do you have the old valve? If so just compare them. It is basically heater hose in and out and a place for the cable to attach

Re: Heater Control Valve
Dave one way to tell might be to look at you heater assembly, (the whole assembly that bolts in under the dash).
Does it have one or two cable operated dampers there? If it has two points to attach cables, it seems you would need the deluxe with three cable points so it could also operate the valve under the hood?

Re: Heater Control Valve
If you have a pull cable for temp then this is the valve you need. It mounts inline with the heater hose on the passenger side inner fender. I need one for my 1970 as well, the old one broke when I was changing the heater hose. There are pics of the economy valve in this thread http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =6&t=64559 .

Do I want it to flow towards or away from the pull cable? Napa lists 2 different ones.

Re: Heater Control Valve
Mine was installed in line with the hose that went to the intake, not the one that went to the water pump.
