There is what looks like two holes filled in with some sort of nasty black epoxy on the passenger door of my 67 F100. Trying to figure out if this is redneck engineering at it's finest, trying to patch some rust holes or dents, or if something was there and then the holes simply covered up?

That was probably the optional Beer holder... those panels are '67 only and can be difficult to source...
