Hello I was wondering if anyone could tell me what all this means on my transmission plate it looks like a C6 but does this tell me a year or what it is out of or anything else i might need to know ?

Without checking a code book, all this tells me is that the transmission was DESIGNED for an 83 Ford Truck. It MAY have been used in later years and/or other applications.
