C6 Tail Housing Differences

Post by FloridaPhil »

I have a short tail housing C6 out of a 1971 Ford F100 2WD truck. The distance from the front of the short tail housing to the mounting pad is 3". Can anyone please provide me with the same distance (front of housing to mounting pad) for a long tail housing passenger car C6? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. It looks like my short tail shaft C6 has the same mounting pad distance as a passenger car C6. I've never messed with a truck before and things are definitely different.
