speedometer cable

Post by bluetruck70 »

Looking for some advice. My son has a 1970 2wd half ton. came out with a 302 and c4. the lower speedometer cable is missing and we have swapped the c4 for a rug bp 3 speed w/overdrive manual trans. I'm told this trans came out of a 1978 or 79 car or light duty truck. anyone have a suggestion on speedometer cable? will the lower cabel for the 1970 4 speed work?

Then yes, a 4 speed cable should work.
